Reedsy charges both professionals and clients a 10% fee on a completed collaboration (plus a standard 2.9% processing fee on payments). How can my client post a review for me?
At the end of every collaboration, your client will be encouraged to leave a review. This will contain a star rating and a comment. All reviews written about you will show at the bottom of your profile. You’re able to respond to any review simply by going to your profile and writing a message below it.
My client's payment was declined
In order for your collaboration to start, your client must add a valid payment method. Sometimes, the payment might fail due to the bank blocking the payment or insufficient funds on the card. When this happens, our Support team contacts the client to help resolve the issue. We would of course keep you updated.
How does contracting work on Reedsy?
To protect both clients and professionals, Reedsy provides you with an automated contract that details the important terms of your collaboration. We call these our Mandatory Terms and any collaboration that you enter into over Reedsy is governed by them. You can attach additional terms to your collaboration if necessary that will be displayed when your client receives the offer. If a client cancels the collaboration, will I be compensated?
The client wants to cancel the collaboration. You might be eligible for compensation. This depends on when the client cancels. If the client cancels a project outside of the cancelation period stated below, they will incur a 20% fee paid to you, unless agreed otherwise.
