How do I send a request to professionals?
Learn about the process of finding and working with the right professional on Reedsy. It’s simple to request quotes on Reedsy. Head to the Marketplace and pick the service you need (editing, design, publicity, etc.); Add a couple of filters to winnow down a list of relevant professionals; Browse through the profiles and select a shortlist of up to five professionals, then click “Continue” to start creating your brief; and Add as much information

How can I message my professional?
Send a message to ask about the offer or your ongoing collaboration. Once you have sent a request, you are always able to send your professionals a message to discuss your project. How do I share documents with my professional?
Each collaboration has a dedicated Files page, available from the sidebar. You can use it to share documents with your professional. You will be able to create several versions of each document and go back to older versions at any time!
How can I update the payment schedule?
If you need to change your payment schedule, please get in touch with your professional — they are the only ones who will be able to submit an amendment. You will be asked to approve the amendment before it takes effect so be sure to request amendments at least 3 days before the due date of the payment you want to change.
My professional isn’t showing up on the Marketplace. Why?
You enjoyed working with your Reedsy professional, and you’d like to work with them again! But If you can’t find them on the Marketplace or are unable to send them a request, they may have temporarily activated their “Out of Office” setting. If your request is urgent, you can still reach out to the professional by sending a message. They will usually respond within 48 hours, but if you have not received a response by then, please contact the Reedsy support team.
How do I leave a review for my professional?
Don’t forget to share your feedback with the professional when the collaboration has ended. Our marketplace thrives on feedback! When your collaboration is complete, you’ll receive an email about reviewing the collaboration.
