My profile has been accepted. What now?

First off, welcome to Reedsy 🎉 We’re super excited to have you on board!

Do I need to do anything else?

Nope! Now that your profile is visible and hireable on the marketplace, you will start receiving requests from authors and be able to send back quotes for projects you’re interested in.

A member of the Reedsy community team will schedule a welcome onboarding call to run through how things work and answer any questions you may have.

Once I’m in, am I in forever?

Yes, you pretty much have lifetime membership to our Marketplace once you’re in! There are very few cases in which we might decide to deactivate your profile:

If you violate our Terms of Use by taking clients off the Reedsy platform; and
If you’re consistently unresponsive to requests or miss project deadlines.

In any case, we will get in touch with you to explain this decision.
