Do you need to fully or partially refund the fees to your client? Find out how.

If you have to refund a client’s payment partially or in full, follow these simple steps: go to your “Account settings” and click “Payment” in the upper right corner.



You will see that your Stripe account is successfully connected and you will be able to launch Stripe.

Once you launch your Stripe account, find the client’s payment sorting by date and click “Refund.” You can select whether it will be a full or partial refund. Enter the amount and state the reason for the refund. Click “Submit” and it’s all done.

The client will receive the refunded amount in their bank account within 5–10 business days.

P.S. Note that Reedsy fees are non-refundable. For our records, please let us know when you’ve refunded your client.
