When things don't go as planned, don't worry: we're here to help!

As part of our Reedsy service, we will try to help resolve any issues that arise between you and the professional. In the event that you cannot reach an agreement on your own, you can file a complaint with Reedsy though the Report tab of the relevant collaboration.

Reporting a collaboration

We’d be happy to step in and mediate if:

The service provider didn't complete the agreed-upon work.
The service provider didn't complete the work within the agreed-upon time frame.
The quality of the work was poor.

When you submit a report, you will be required to provide a detailed outline of the issue and attach any supporting evidence. Please note that we will not be able to review payments or consider communications and documents that were not transferred via the Reedsy platform. Reedsy is only able to review claims that are reported within 7 days of the applicable incident.

We review each report carefully and will issue a decision which both client and professional must comply with. Depending on the nature of the complaint, we might for example, reach the decision that part of the fees paid should be refunded or deducted from the remainder left to pay, or we might suspend or terminate an account if we think there’s been a breach of the Terms of Use.
